The Nobilia 27 Kitchen Collection

It’s that time of year when our esteemed German Kitchen Maker Nobilia launch their new collection for the upcoming year, and this year we’re delighted to share ten unique new door styles available to consider for your next kitchen project now!

Throughout the new collection you’ll find a new selection of colourful, oak finish, and shaker styles that are truly a different proposition compared to other Kitchen Makers. So, take a look at the new collection and have a read of some of our thoughts on styling and more…

Cadra

SAND ULTRAMATT

Starting with perhaps the most impressionable of all: Cadra is an entirely new range building upon the trend for micro shaker kitchens. And if you didn’t know what that means, a micro shaker is a shaker style door front, using a thinner exterior shaker profile for a more contemporary look.

To team with this sleek new door style, the sole finish Sand Ultramatt provides a soft contemporary colour combination that creates a very linear and modern kitchen aesthetic.

Frame

BLACK WOOD TEXTURE

It appears black is back and this Black Wood Texture finish has been added to the Frame collection for a super-economical dark shaker style kitchen option.

This finish is a great option for a dramatic kitchen look and works really well with a selection of feature units where lighting options can highlight the rich finish further. For more colourful economical shaker kitchens take a look at the four finishes from the Frame range.

Look

TERRACOTTA TEXTURED

One of the more colourful new finishes from the new collection is the Terracotta Textured option from the Look range. This option packs colour and an alternative texture into a door style that also happens to be one of the most inexpensive options.

Nordic

PERFECT HONED IVORY

The Nordic range has been a popular choice for a German-style shaker kitchen in recent years combining a classic shaker profile with soft tones for a Scandinavian style kitchen dynamic. The new Perfect Honed Ivory finish adds a further soft finish to this range for those creating a classic shaker look that teams well with warming accents.

Senso

PREMIUM HONED BERRY I PREMIUM HONED IVORY I SAND ULTRA MATT

Plenty of attention has been paid to the expanding Senso range in recent years, with many favouring the unique matt textured finishes that come with a favoured anti fingerprint coating.

This year Premium Honed Berry is the standout addition, with Premium Honed Ivory and Sand Ultra Matt offering choice for a more subtle kitchen renovation. Berry is a midway point between a dark grey and purple infused finish, teaming well with brass accents or stainless steel accents alike.

Structura

FARO OAK REPRODUCTION I NERO OAK REPRODUCTION I PORTO OAK REPRODUCTION

The Structura range is the staple wood effect range of the Nobilia collection. Structura finishes are popular in a two-tone kitchen but also work well as a sole finish for a natural looking kitchen space.

The new finishes all utilise a vertical grain direction which look particularly striking when used as part of a full-height kitchen theme. The new finishes add a light oak, walnut, and black oak texture to the Nobilia collection and each of these door styles can be chosen in handleless finish for an ultramodern kitchen theme.

Designer Aron created a new layout, utilising glossy white marble tiles throughout the space. Smoke Blue fitted furniture from British supplier Deuco was teamed with the marble, installed wall-to-wall. The design includes sizeable bathing and showering areas aimed at providing a relaxing experience. A storage niche was installed within the shower enclosure, with a Vado Photon shower valve positioned behind it. The furniture consists of two cabinetry combinations, with sanitaryware partially concealed behind the Smoke Blue shaker units. ## German Kitchen Design in Ferring, Worthing | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/german-kitchen-ferring-worthing A client in Ferring, Worthing, sought a simple update to their kitchen, opting for a classic German furniture option, which also included a matching utility room. The brief involved modernising the space with a homely design, incorporating new appliances for increased function, and improving the flooring throughout the kitchen, utility, and dining room. Designer Aron maintained the client's preferred U-shape layout, incorporating tall units for cooking and refrigerating appliances, and a pull-out pantry. The chosen style was a shaker door, specifically the York shaker door from German supplier Nobilia, which combines a classic country look with options for contemporary features such as glass units and exposed corner units. The Satin Light Grey finish was used for a subtle tone, combined with brushed chrome cup and bar handles. ## Marble & Wood Bathroom Design in Worthing | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/marble-wood-bathroom-worthing This project in Worthing involved re-designing a bathroom to create a spacious and accessible walk-in shower, replacing a former bath and compact shower enclosure. The client desired a light and spacious design that aligned with the style of their seaside apartment, intended to last for years to come. The design incorporated white marble tiling and natural wood elements. A 1.5-metre demisting mirror above the furniture enhanced the tile choice. For storage, a wall-hung unit from Imex with a built-in sink and a complementing marble worktop was chosen. An additional small cabinet was installed above the sanitaryware for extra storage and a decorative space. ## Modern German Kitchen Project in Ashington | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/modern-german-kitchen-ashington-sussex This project in Ashington, West Sussex, involved refreshing an existing kitchen to bring it up to date with new appliances. The client requested a monochrome theme for both the kitchen and an adjoining utility room, along with new flooring throughout. The layout featured a peninsula island to separate the kitchen from the dining area. An ultramodern gloss door finish from German manufacturer Nobilia was selected for the furniture, which was in a handleless form with matt black rails to support the monochrome theme. Designer Aron recommended a light oak Karndean flooring in Grey Scandi Pine, installed by the team across the kitchen, dining area, and utility room. Lighting considerations were also key to the project. ## German Kitchen in Mannings Heath, Horsham | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/german-kitchen-mannings-heath In Mannings Heath, Horsham, designer Alistair was tasked with creating a new kitchen layout to improve storage and enhance a family dining area. The client required increased storage within the kitchen and a cohesive design for the dining space. A breakfast bar was a key request for the young family. Additional requirements included open shelving, new appliances, a new radiator, and dining room storage. The project also involved flooring, lighting, and electrical adjustments, all carried out by Alexander Kitchens' in-house team. The design adopted an ultramodern theme, with a Satin Grey finish from German kitchen maker Nobilia. A two-tone design was implemented using Concrete Terra Grey for lower base units to provide contrast. The handleless furniture contributed to the modern style. The kitchen maintained a u-shape layout, similar to the previous one, but included extra cabinetry near the dining room entrance for storage and the breakfast bar. ## En-Suite Bathroom Design Project, Horsham | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/bright-ensuite-bathroom-horsham This project in Horsham focused on transforming a dated Victorian en-suite into a spacious and bright sanctuary. The client wanted to remove the existing bath and replace it with a large shower area. Whilst aiming for brightness, the client also requested the inclusion of appealing design elements and occasional pops of colour. The design incorporated light grey elements, such as gloss tiles named Moon and Moon Fields on the walls for subtle colour. Grey Riven Slate flooring from Karndean was chosen for a traditional yet warm feel. Two Petrol-coloured storage units from a British supplier added a pop of colour; one unit included a basin and tap, whilst the other provided extra storage and a decorative space. A built-out area on the rear wall with a shelf and concealed sanitaryware was also included. ## We Visit Work Surface Manufacturer Laminam | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/we-visit-work-surface-manufacturer-laminam On 27-11-24, Phil and Liam from Alexander Kitchens visited Laminam, a work surface supplier, at their headquarters in Modena, Italy. The purpose of the visit was to understand the composition and properties of Laminam's work surfaces. Laminam is known for its unique porcelain and raw material composition, offering a natural finish and durable characteristics. Clients interested in Laminam work surfaces can inquire with their designer or request a quick quote for new projects. The team also visited Ferrari's Maranello base during their trip. ## Introducing: Calypso Bathroom Furniture | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/introducing-calypso-bathrooms On 19-02-25, Alexander Kitchens introduced Calypso Bathrooms, a British manufacturer with over twenty years of experience in supplying quality bathroom components. Based in Hereford, Calypso Bathrooms offers a variety of fitted and modular furniture, brassware options, stylish mirrors, and accessories. Calypso Bathrooms has nine fitted furniture options, providing flexibility for design. These options include timeless shaker, traditional, curved cabinets, and contemporary gloss finishes, available in neutral and bold colours. Examples highlighted include Chiltern (a classic shaker option in painted or woodgrain finish) and Dartmoor (an ultra-slim shaker frame). ## White Contemporary Kitchen Ferring, Worthing | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/contemporary-kitchen-ferring-worthing A client in Ferring, near Worthing, sought a light-filled open-plan kitchen space that used a rear extension and patio doors. The design intent was to replicate this theme in a matching utility area, including additional storage, a sink, and laundry appliances. New flooring and lighting improvements, along with various new appliances, were also required. This project involved replacing a previous kitchen installed by Alexander Kitchens. The new design focused on the rear extension, featuring a long run of cabinetry along the exterior wall and an island pointing towards the patio doors. Director Aron's layout aimed for spaciousness, enhanced by an Alpine White gloss finish for the cabinetry, which reflects light. The kitchen is from German manufacturer Nobilia, specifically their Focus range, designed in a handleless style for a minimalist aesthetic. Sparkling white quartz work surfaces were chosen for their brightness, with the island work surface wrapping around the side. ## Bright Blue Bathroom Design in Ashington | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/bright-blue-bathroom-ashington-west-sussex In Ashington, West Sussex, clients sought to refresh a compact bathroom with a light and contemporary design, incorporating a subtle blue accent. Furnishings from Sonas Bathrooms were a key element. A unique design solution was created for a patterned tile concept; instead of an actual tile, Managing Director and Designer Phil collaborated with Southern Counties Glass to replicate the desired geometric pattern in glass, installed behind the stand-alone bath. Variance was introduced using a dimpled white rectangular tile elsewhere, whilst Calacatta Gold tiles were chosen for the flooring. A Sky Blue finish was used for various furnishings, including the Sonas freestanding bath and a wall-hung vanity unit. ## Contemporary Kitchen in Partridge Green | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/contemporary-kitchen-partridge-green This project in Partridge Green aimed to improve a kitchen and dining space with a clean, minimalist, and contemporary theme, including ample storage and modern amenities. The theme was also to be replicated in a utility area that required renovation. The work encompassed new appliances, flooring, and electrical adjustments, all handled during the kitchen installation. A Mineral Green finish was combined with natural wood accents, using furniture from German kitchen maker Nobilia, to achieve the contemporary aesthetic. Exposed units provided design differentiation and spaces for decorative items. A U-shape layout was chosen to maximise space and separate the kitchen from the dining area. A tall bank of units was designated for cooking appliances, storage, and an integrated refrigerator and freezer. Quartz work surfaces in a Grey Moorland Fog finish from Caesarstone were selected for durability and used as a splashback. ## Kitchens Worthing | Expert Worthing Design | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/kitchens/worthing Alexander Kitchens operates as kitchen designers and specialists in Worthing, West Sussex, from their showroom in the area for over thirty years. They offer kitchen design and fitting services for local Worthing kitchen projects. Their design service can be combined with either a complete installation option or a design & supply only service.
