A light and airy space was required for this Horsham kitchen project, with stylish elements and high performance appliances.

The Brief

This project sought to make use of building works that had reshaped this Horsham property. The brief for the kitchen project was light and airy, with high-specification inclusions packed with features.

Throughout the kitchen plenty of floorspace was required to maintain a spacious feel. The design of the kitchen was to be angled towards a dining area at the bottom of the kitchen space.

Design Elements

Designer George has created a great design and layout for this project to tick all boxes.

The layout is a simple galley style, with full-height units towards the rear of the kitchen housing the bulk of appliances and storage sought for this project. This layout maintains plenty of floorspace between kitchen runs for a spacious feel.

To keep the project light, designer George has used a light cashmere finish in combination with a flat slab door for a minimalist feel.

For this project Neff appliances were used, with a combination oven, Slide & Hide oven, induction hob and wine cabinet all incorporated alongside this client’s own American fridge freezer.

Special Inclusions

To create a unique space centred around this client a number of special inclusions have been incorporated. Storage was a key requirement of this project as with most, to ensure there is plenty George has incorporated vast amounts of pan storage as well as pantry storage towards the rear of the kitchen.

The client also wished to put their own twist on the kitchen with two splashbacks. One is a tile design from kitchen supplier Nobilia and the other a mid-grey glass colour.

To provide a durable work surface Caesarstone quartz surfaces have been used in an ocean foam finish. The light speckles within this surface provide subtle detail to the kitchen.

Project Highlight

To bring daily function to the kitchen, a number of high-specification appliances have been chosen.

Neff cooking appliances are all of high-performance, possessing a plentitude of useful features for making food. A Quooker boiling tap is included for 100°C boiling water alongside a built-in wine cabinet for precise chilling of up to twenty-four bottles.

The End Result

Although incredible performance is included in this kitchen, a light and spacious kitchen still prevails, with neat additions for the convenience of this Horsham client.
