Coastal Style Bathroom in Partridge Green, West Sussex

The Brief

A simple modernisation of this bathroom space was what this client required, with plenty of space designated to storage as well as all usual amenities.

The client had a neutral theme in mind with the idea of a pop of colour favoured. As part of the renovation, modernising the new bathroom with present-day conveniences was key, and after a look around our showroom they had some key ideas on how to achieve this.

Design Elements

The layout of this space places a spacious showering and bathing area into the alcove of the room, a main run of fitted storage to the right and a further storage unit opposite at the end of the room.

The most striking element of the design is the pop of colour that comes from the Smoke Blue coloured cabinetry supplied by furniture maker Deuco. This furniture incorporates plenty of storage for the client, as well as a semi-recessed basin, concealed cistern, and White Sparkle work surface on top. This furniture finish combines nicely with a light grey tile choice, and a selection of the client’s accessories contribute to a soothing coastal ambience.

Special Inclusions

Plenty of special inclusions help to modernise the client’s bathroom routine, none more so than the installed Aqualisa Quartz digital shower system. This digital shower gives the option to control temperature and flow rate from a handy dial and different users of the shower can even save their preferred settings, to enhance their daily showering experience.

Another modern addition to the bathroom is an illuminating LED mirror, from British furniture and accessory maker R2 – which ensures the mirror can be used at all times thanks to an integrated demister pad.

Project Highlight

As well as a full renovation of their bathroom, the clients opted to renovate a smaller cloakroom bathroom at the same time, replicating the same theme across the compact space.

The cloakroom uses an almost identical theme, aside from a half-tiled design which helps this room to remain bright and airy.

The End Result

These two bathrooms boast a light theme, with a bold pop of colour to meet the client’s idea for the room, whilst the addition of modern conveniences help to enhance their daily use of these two spaces.
