The Brief

This Ashington project required an update and refresh with the theme to resemble this client’s property abroad. The layout was also to remain the same with a few special inclusions sought to help improve the function of the space.

A matching utility was also required as part of the renovation and needed to facilitate laundry appliances, extra storage and an additional sink area.

Design Elements

Designer Aron suggested this Denim Blue furniture from British supplier Mereway to mimic the client’s property abroad. It’s a contemporary shaker door with a painted finish which combines nicely with the Stellar Blanco quartz work surfaces.

Underlit cabinet lighting has been used beneath wall units and around the perimeter coloured glass splashbacks also feature.

Special Inclusions

Neff appliances are placed throughout the kitchen space, including a Slide & Hide oven, combination oven, hob, extractor and dishwasher.

A Quooker boiling tap is placed above the main kitchen sink. It provides the kitchen with a constant 100°C stream of boiling water which is a useful addition in a number of situations.

Project Highlight

In addition to the kitchen, the utility utilises the same theme with matching quartz work surfaces and a glass splashback.

Integrated laundry appliances and plenty of storage have been designed in the utility as well as a second sink area.
