This recent Haywards Heath project spans three rooms, making the most of authentic British-made furniture and cabinetry in a kitchen and coordinating utility.

The Brief

The brief required a design that could be replicated seamlessly across all three rooms, with elements like cabinetry and flooring used to create a consistent theme.

An authentic style of kitchen was required, bringing with it traditional features that would suit the style of the property, and importantly a classy finish that permitted natural light throughout the space. New appliances were sought, with those that add convinience specified to help simplify daily tasks.

Design Elements

To achieve the high-specification brief of this project, designer George has included a number of luxury additions. Notably the handcrafted British furniture that brings almighty authenticity to this project. Chosen in the classy and handpainted colour cashmere, this furniture showcases the fine British cabinetry from our supplier Mereway.

Glass fronted feature units provide a design element, breaking up long runs of cabinetry with a place to store pertinent items. As standard, appliances have been integrated and built into furniture to let the kitchen itself take centre-stage. Behind cabinetry feature storage is also present to help both organise and best utilise space.

Hard-wearing quartz work surfaces add durability and glitz, with identical surfaces used in the utility.

Special Inclusions

To make using and living in the new kitchen easier, special inclusions have been incorporated at this client’s request. A key element for the client was the exposed storage and wine cabinet area, which was uniquely designed for this project.

High-specification appliances add daily function to this property, with a Quooker tap used for instant 100°C boiling water.

Upgraded Neff appliances possess features particularly useful for this client, with pyrolytic cleaning, Slide & Hide operation, and a number of useful cooking functions. Integrated behind doors, a Neff full-height refrigerator and dishwasher can be found, with a flexInduction hob and feature glass extractor hood also utilised in the kitchen.

Throughout the three rooms, our fitting team have installed Karndean flooring in a misty grey oak finish along with underfloor heating.
