With a lot of innovation going into the sector and plenty of new styles hitting the shelves we’ve revised our tiling options to give you an enhanced selection of tiling from some of the up and coming suppliers in the UK.

Boyden Tiles

Boyden are a renowned tile distributor across the South of England, offering tile styles for every pattern, texture, finish, and colour. Some of their specialities include neutral marble finishes, textured bamboo-like options, and the popular rainforest tile that we’ve used in plenty of recent bathroom projects.

Ca' Pietra

In recent years Ca’ Pietra have become one of the outstanding tiling specialists across the UK, seen in some stand-out bathroom renovations where unique laying patterns and interesting colour schemes combine.

One of Ca’Pietra’s latest innovations is their Onyx collection of large format tiles, designed to be the opalescent centre-piece of a bathroom space. You can find these tiles on display in our new designated C.P. HART bathroom showroom, as well as plenty of other samples from the rest of the Ca’ Pietra collection like their well-known rectangle tiles, mosaic tiles and more.

Karndean Flooring

While not a traditional ’tiling’ brand, the Karndean Flooring range of tile look flooring is a great alternative to traditional tiles thanks to its realistic look warm to touch feel.

When choosing Karndean as an alternative to tiling, our clients tend to opt for stone look finishes like popular choices Grey Riven Slate, Honed Oyster Slate, or alike. Tile look options can even come with manufacturer grout lines to mimic the authentic stone tile look.

Karndean Flooring can be used almost anywhere around the home, with wood finishes popular for kitchen projects and communal areas, whilst tile look flooring is also a common choice in these settings too.

The project also involved flooring, lighting, and electrical adjustments, all carried out by Alexander Kitchens' in-house team. The design adopted an ultramodern theme, with a Satin Grey finish from German kitchen maker Nobilia. A two-tone design was implemented using Concrete Terra Grey for lower base units to provide contrast. The handleless furniture contributed to the modern style. The kitchen maintained a u-shape layout, similar to the previous one, but included extra cabinetry near the dining room entrance for storage and the breakfast bar. ## En-Suite Bathroom Design Project, Horsham | Alexander Kitchens URL: https://alexanderkitchens.co.uk/latest-work/bright-ensuite-bathroom-horsham This project in Horsham focused on transforming a dated Victorian en-suite into a spacious and bright sanctuary. The client wanted to remove the existing bath and replace it with a large shower area. Whilst aiming for brightness, the client also requested the inclusion of appealing design elements and occasional pops of colour. The design incorporated light grey elements, such as gloss tiles named Moon and Moon Fields on the walls for subtle colour. Grey Riven Slate flooring from Karndean was chosen for a traditional yet warm feel. Two Petrol-coloured storage units from a British supplier added a pop of colour; one unit included a basin and tap, whilst the other provided extra storage and a decorative space. The purpose of the visit was to understand the composition and properties of Laminam's work surfaces. Laminam is known for its unique porcelain and raw material composition, offering a natural finish and durable characteristics. The new design focused on the rear extension, featuring a long run of cabinetry along the exterior wall and an island pointing towards the patio doors.
