Take a read of some of our frequently asked questions, or contact the team if your question isn't listed.
Book an AppointmentIf you arrange an appointment with a designer, they will attend your property and complete a free home measure, get to know your preferences for a renovation and provide you with a complete computerised design with a layout drawing, and itemised quotation of all your project items.
We’re happy to make plenty of revisions to get your design just right, but ask that you have a good idea of theme and inclusions in mind as designs do take some time to complete!
Yes, we regularly provide ‘off plan’ designs for projects using architect drawings or measurements from other plans.
We just ask that you have a good idea of theme and inclusions in mind as designs do take some time to complete, and we will need to have a final measure and survey of your space before ordering project furnishings.
We only install projects where we you order furnishings from ourselves, and do not install projects purchased from other retailers.
The exception to this is if you have a specific item in mind that we can’t source like a bath screen, pendant light, or items of this type we are happy to install these smaller items, but not major furnishings.
On the whole we do not, this is because there is significant risk of damage to your existing furnishings where we are working in close proxmity. There are certain exceptions to this, like kitchen appliances, or freestanding baths, mirrors etc.
If you are in any doubt about an item just ask a member of the team.
Design & Supply Only projects, or Supply Only projects are where we design, order and deliver your project elements to site for installation by your chosen installer.
This is useful if your project involves building work with a building contractor, or if you already had an installer in mind for your renovation.
If you wish, we can still organise fabrication and installation of work surfaces and glass splashbacks.
A Dry-Fit project is where we design and coordinate the installation of cabinetry and dry fixtures only, excluding plumbing and electrics.
If you wish, we can still organise fabrication and installation of work surfaces and glass splashbacks.
Our complete installation projects include an experienced design service for your chosen project, coordination of your project undertaken by Customer Care team at our Installation Office, and installation of your project by our in-house team of installers.
If required this can be extended to certain structural works to reshape your property.
Complete Installation projects typically involve a Kitchen, Bathroom, or Bedroom Installer or Carpenter, Plumbing & Heating Engineer, Tiler or Floorer, Plasterer, and Electrician. Each member of our in-house team is a specialist and fully qualified in their respective trade.
The only exception to our ‘in-house’ team is the installation of fabricated work surfaces and glass splashbacks as this is an exceptionally specialised trade, almost always outsourced by retailers like ourselves. For fabricated work surfaces Stone Systems of London is our primary supplier and for glass splashbacks Southern Counties Glass is our primary supplier.
If required we can also incorporate internal structural works to reshape your home.
Typical structural works involve removing and creating doorways, removing or creating dividing walls and installing lintels or steels to help reshape your home. We do not construct extensions, but can work with recommended local builders if required.
If you are in any doubt about your structural works just ask a member of the team.
Our Customer Care team based at our Installation Office will schedule and organise our in-house tradespersons to attend your property in sequence, until your project is complete.
Your furnishings will be stored at our warehouse until your chosen delivery date, or installation start date.
Our team of installers, coordinated by our Customer Care team will clear your existing furnishings, and set about bringing your project to life from your start date. Our customer care team will provide you with an installation schedule prior to your start date and ongoing updates.
If you have chosen fabricated work surfaces or glass splashbacks, templating will be undertaken following appropriate cabinetry installation, and the installation will take place roughly two weeks following.
